SEBI's final Closing Auction Session circular moves the auction to 3:30-3:40 pm and settles expiring derivatives on a 30-minute continuous-trading VWAP from 7 December 2026. F&O stocks will close at one price and settle at another on expiry day. The ICDR, SAST and delisting VWAP floors don't change; closing-price tests for QIPs, buy-backs and ESOPs still use the auction close.
